Commemorate the momentous events that led to the peace process in Northern Ireland with a special guided tour charting the turbulent path to peace on the island of Ireland during the twentieth century.
This tour will focus on key developments in twentieth century Irish political and social history, leading to the watershed Good Friday (Belfast) Agreement reached in 1998. The tour will cover a range of topics, including the Home Rule crisis of 1912, the 1918 general election, partition and the emergence of two states on the island of Ireland, the outbreak of the Troubles, and power-sharing in Northern Ireland since the start of the twenty-first century.
This tour may not be suitable for children under the age of 12.
