GPO ANNIVERSARY TOUR

11AM tour is sold out.

Limited tickets remain for the 12PM tour.

Celebrate the two centuries of history behind one of Dublin City’s most iconic buildings. The tour will take visitors through the story of the General Post Office, as well as discussing the future plans for the building’s redevelopment. Beginning in the Public Letters Office (PLO), the tour will take place mostly within the space occupied by the GPO Museum which sits on the ground and basement levels of the right hand side of the building.

The tour itself will look at the building’s construction, its numerous renovations, its role in the 1916 Easter Rising, its reconstruction, its use in modern Dublin, and the recently announced plans for its redevelopment.

Booking is essential as availability is limited.
